Legion 5 Pro coming tom, new to gaming laptops pls help
Main Post:
Hi guys, I wanted to ask a big favor. My Legion 5 Pro arrives tomorrow and I'm completely new to gaming laptops. I've been using a mac all my life as well. I've been looking into how to set it up properly but it's mostly all going over my head. I watched a bunch of videos and looked through the discord as well but I'm still nervous about messing something up. I'd really appreciate any advice on setting it up properly.

To keep things very simple.
-update windows -update your drivers -download nvidia gforce to update graphics card -google dead pixel check - run through one of the top results and make sure you don’t have any. It will just cycle colours so take your time here.
- run some benchmarks on 3D mark - compare to other people’s results for your laptop - monitor your temps for this.
Providing above is all good and dandy - rest easy. Should be alright. Don’t be afraid to push the laptop during the early stages. You have warranty for a reason. If something is broken or will break. Do so under warranty!
Enjoy!

Sad and interesting at the same time, but I really hate when people do tests and doesn't explain the methodology (please correct me if I missed something).
Is that 9 hours figure the screen-on time? If that's the case, even if the phone died at 9 hours, I'm personally ok with that.

It's a real damn bummer I have all these games downloaded and I'm playing them but then I keep thinking about how I'm going to have to redownload them again in a week and it makes me want to hold off because I know I'll have a better experience.

Top Comment: What’s actually hilarious is there are a bunch of scalpers selling these on EBay right now for like $1000 or even $1300. Love to see those rot on eBay when I could pop over to PS Direct and buy one if I ever cared.

Coughlin of course should be a HoFer but I have a feeling Shanahan is going to get in before him (they only induct one coach a year)

Tom Rich - Vivo X200 Pro vs. $5000 Professional Camera

Top Comment: these comparisons are amusing... you don't need 5000$ to get a full frame camera, you can get an old Canon for couple hundred, or an older Sony and get almost same quality photos as new ones. Another thing is the HDR or photo stitching all the phones do... yeah cameras don't do that, like at all. But you can capture RAW that are much better than any phone and get insane dynamic range out of those. Yes, a phone can also take raw, but these reviews almost never compare raw to raw.
